Obama Original Poster
Obama Original Poster VS. Obama Joker Poster
Charge: I'm like the "Joker"? Unpredictable and Dangerous.
The new Obama poster has two basic thrusts. Obama is a socialist, or a crypto-socialist. And Obama is somehow like the Joker, unpredictable and dangerous. But joining these two messages together yields more questions and contradictions than good poster art can sustain. The Joker is violent and dangerous, but a socialist? And didn't we see George W. Bush depicted as the Joker not so long ago? (Via http://bit.ly/z3yox)

I would like you to cite which "bad things has happened" of which you speak. I might also add that your avatar is racist because you use the color yellow on your character's face. Is that a dig at Asians? Are you, sir, of Asian heritage?I think I even see some red in the avatar, should the Native Americans be aggrieved?See, the ridiculousness of the racist argument becomes apparent when applied to every case. This image, this poster speaks directly to the policies of our current president (apart from race) and the emotion that those policies evoke in many Americans of all races.

At first they told about him that he is a terrorist, after they told about him that he is a muslim fanath and now you are acusing him on being a Marxist socialist. I think that he is doing a good job, don't forget that he got ellected at very problematic period of time - GIVE HIM A CHANCE!

I don't think anyone ever said he was a Muslim "fanatic." :) Nevertheless, I think it is fair to say he was a "moderate" Muslim. When I knew him at Occidental College, his closest friends were the wealthy Pakistani students...not the African-American students. As for the terrorist charge, no one takes that seriously. What is problematic is that so many of his Marxist socialist friends, like Bill Ayers, have been involved with terrorism. My father was one of Bill Ayers targets, because he worked in a federal building. I still haven't forgiven Bill Ayers for terrorizing me and my family when I was a child.

I knew Barrack Obama when he was a sophomore at Occidental College. I can verify that he was definitely a Marxist socialist in 1980. (He and I even debated revolutionary Marxist theory in the fall of 1980.) Occidental College's political science department had a strong Marxist bent at the time. I even wrote my undergraduate thesis on the topic of Marxist economics. As I've studied Obama's history, I see that he was already a Marxist socialist before he arrived at Oxy and that he has not changed his basic ideology much as an adult. I think I've in a strong position to make these observations because I took my Ph.D. in political science at Cornell University and have taught and published on politics and economics. The truth is that Obama's socialist ideology is hiding in plain sight. Sadly, Obama lied to the U.S. people about being a centerist. I'm glad to see his poll numbers drop as people realize they have made a mistake.

First, the idea that Obama is a socialist is ludicrous & those who think so obviously have no clue what socialism is. Second, those who think that Obama is somehow "dangerous" have obviously not been around for the past 8 years. However, Obama IS unpredictable as are all presidents.
